FOR LIFELONG BEAUTY
Maintaining proper humidity around hardwood flooring is crucial to prevent issues like cracking, shrinking, or expansion. A hygrometer can help monitor humidity levels year-round. It’s important to educate occupants about the care of wood flooring. Use protective pads under furniture, place entrance mats by doors, and avoid rubber-backed rugs. Regularly vacuum and sweep to remove dirt and grit, and clean with a recommended floor cleaner. Hardwood floors can experience color changes due to high UV exposure, with some darkening and others bleaching. Direct sunlight is harsh on finished products, so it’s recommended to use sheers or curtains to reduce UV exposure.

WARNING
Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products generates wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust of use dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection. California Health and Safety Code Section 252.4.9.6.
