Engineered Hickory Hardwood Flooring ranges from tan or reddish & white to cream, with fine brown lines, with our wear layer of 5.25mm thickness. The substrate is a cross-grained, 11-ply Baltic Birch plywood, which is adhered to the wood veneer with a hot melt, urethane adhesive.
APPEARANCE/COLOR: The heartwood is tan or reddish. The sapwood is white to cream, with fine brown lines. Heartwood and sapwood often are sharply demarcated. The color can vary significantly.
CLEAR GRADING RULES: Natural variations in heartwood and sapwood coloration, along with some allowable natural wood characters. Will admit the following: Occasional pin knots (1/4’’ in diameter), small burls, streaks.

CHARACTER GRADING RULES: Distinct natural variations in heartwood and sapwood coloration, along with varying natural wood characters and sound knots. Will admit the following: Open knots and open characters (up to ½’’ in diameter that are fillable) worm holes, checks, streaks, bird pecks. Unlimited heartwood/sapwood.
