Engineered Cherry Prefinished Hardwood Flooring is a custom order. The colors ranges from a light pinkish-red to a reddish-brown color or light brown to pale yellowish tone, with a wear layer of 5.25mm thickness. The substrate is a cross-grained, 11-ply Baltic Birch plywood, which is adhered to the wood veneer with a hot melt, urethane adhesive.
APPEARANCE/COLOR: The heartwood of beech is mostly a light reddish-brown. The sapwood is generally a pale white or straw color, sometimes with a pink or brown hue.
CLEAR GRADING RULES: Natural variations in heartwood and sapwood coloration, along with some allowable natural wood characters. Will admit the following: Occasional pin knots (up to 1/8’’ in diameter) small burls, streaks.
